ABOUT

Our award winning digital youth work team work with young people across the city online and in person to offer safe spaces to young people. Our work allows young people to develop digital skills and literacy, access support, look at career opportunities and meet new people.

The activities we offer include content creation, digital art, podcasting, Esports, filming immersive technology and so much more you can view our curriculum offer here!

Our online youth clubs are a safe space for young people aged 13+ that run on the platform Discord. Our three servers for Welsh language speakers, young people aged 13-17 and 16-25 offer creative opportunities as well as access to wider opportunities. Sign up is needed through this Microsoft Forms link.

The digital youth work team are also able to offer services to wider service for direct workshops for young people or digital training for professionals. If you would like to discuss costings and bookings please get in touch with dayle.luce@cardiff.gov.uk

Without the youth service, I probably wouldn't be able to do most of the skills that I've learned, like public speaking, gaining confidence, and so many more.

We also offer an annual summer content creation bootcamp that takes place over the summer holidays

Our Discord online youth clubs are a safe space for young people to gain support from youth workers, meet new young people and access a range of opportunities from online gaming sessions, art workshops and in person trips and activities. We have an established relationship with a broadcast department at Carlsbad High School that have developed life changing youth exchange experiences for young people from Cardiff.

Our Youth Workers work across Youth Centres and community spaces delivering digital activities include filming, editing, virtual production and podcasting.
