Our Summer Pop-Ups: see where we’ll be cross town!

There will be a whole host of pop-ups across the city this summer.

Some of them may be planned closer to the time, but there are sure to be some in your area! Here are just a few of the ones we’ve got planned.

Monday 20th July – Cardiff West Youth Pop‑Up Event

6pm – 9pm – Street based and pop ups in and around the Cardiff west area. Our team of youth workers will be running pop ups and walking around the area. Say hello and have a chat to them about any issues you may have and to find out what is happening over the summer.

Friday 24th July – Pentwyn Youth Pop‑Up Event

Pentwyn Skate Park – 16:00–19:00 Games, sports, arts, competitions and support for young people aged 11–17. Delivered with local youth action group partners.

Wednesdays 22nd and 29th of July & every Wednesday in August– Pop‑Up in the Park (Cardiff West) Event

1pm – 4pm and 6pm – 9pm– Pop up in the park. Youth workers will be basing themselves across the different parks in the West of Cardiff. They will be running fun activities such as outdoor sports, arts an crafts and issue-based sessions. Come along and get involved, make sure you also ask what else is on over the summer. Keep an eye on socials as we will advertise where we are in the area each week.

Tuesdays 21st and 28th July & every Tuesday in August – Blackweir Outreach – 12:00–15:00

Youth Workers will be out along the Taff Trail and Blackweir Fields offering free information, support and guidance. We will be speaking with young people about water safety and staying safe in the community. Say hello if you see us.

Thursday 23rd July – Picnic in the Park @ Lydstep Park – 12:00–15:00

Annual community event run by the Gabalfa Youth Action Group. Join partners including South Wales Police, Cardiff Youth Service, Stardust Theatre, Ministry of Life, McDonald’s and others. All community members welcome.
