Saturday 18th July,

3v3 Basketball EventDate:  12pm – 5:30pm • Location: St Mellons Youth Centre, St Mellons Library & Hub, Crickhowell Road, St Mellons • Age: 18–25 yrs A competitive 3v3 basketball tournament delivered in partnership with Cardiff Youth Service and Cardiff Met.

 

Monday 20 July

  • Free2Bee Inclusive Provision – 6:15pm–8:30pm Location: St Mellons Youth Centre, St Mellons Library & Hub, Crickhowell Road
  • Basketball Coaching – 4pm–6pm Location: St Mellons Youth Centre –Delivered by: Cardiff Met Qualified Coaches come along and Take part in Basketball coaching drills and small sided games

Tuesday 21 July

  • Fit & Fed – 1pm–3pm Location: St Mellons Youth CentreFree food, Refreshments and access to a range of fun activities, in a safe space for young people,Activities linked to the CLASH Curriculum including Citizenship workshops, Life Skills sessions, Arts & Expression projects, Sports & Recreation games, and Health & Wellbeing discussions.
  • Bike Maintenance – 1pm–3pm Location: St Mellons Youth Centre-Learn basic bike repairs including fixing punctures, brake adjustments, and general maintenance to keep your bike safe and running smoothly.
  • Junior Youth Centre – 6:15pm–8:30pm Location: St Mellons Youth Centre –Curriculum including Citizenship workshops, Life Skills sessions, Arts & Expression projects, Sports & Recreation games, and Health & Wellbeing discussions.

Wednesday 22 July

  • Post‑16 Drop‑In – 12pm–2pm Location: St Mellons Youth Centre –Receive Information, support & guidance from Youth Support workers and Careers Wales on: Education and training options, Employment pathways, Volunteering opportunities, One-to-one support with youth workers.
  • Trowbridge Youth Club – 6pm–8pm Location: Trowbridge Community Centre, Caernarvon Way –Curriculum including Citizenship workshops, Life Skills sessions, Arts & Expression projects, Sports & Recreation games, and Health & Wellbeing discussions.

Thursday 23 July

  • Emergency Services Day – daytime Location: St Mellons Youth CentreMeet local emergency services, explore vehicles, take part in activities.
  • Senior Youth Club – 6:15pm–8:30pm Location: St Mellons Youth Centre –Curriculum including Citizenship workshops, Life Skills sessions, Arts & Expression projects, Sports & Recreation games, and Health & Wellbeing discussions.

  • GCSE Results Day Support Location: St Mellons Youth Centre –Youth workers available for guidance, emotional support, and next steps. Aswell as Providing Transport to CAVC, ITEC & ACT to enrol in college courses)
  • Senior Youth Club – 6:15pm–8:30pm Location: St Mellons Youth Centre –Curriculum including Citizenship workshops, Life Skills sessions, Arts & Expression projects, Sports & Recreation games, and Health & Wellbeing discussions.

Friday 21 August

  • Final day of programme

 

A Streetbased and detached offer will run throughout the Summer Holidays across the East of Cardiff including St Mellons ,Trowbridge, Rumney and Llanrumney and offer one to one support advice and guidance along with a range of pop up events and activities.
