About
North Ely Youth Centre is a busy centre in the heart of the Ely community, providing support and services to young people from ages 11 to 25. Young people can come to the centre to engage in a range of activities. These range from music and physical activities to issue based work, life skills projects and socialising in a safe environment. We have a music studio and a stage where you can make music and perform shows. We also have a garden where you can learn to grow fruit and veg and take a walk in our nature trail. We have a long standing relationship with Stamheim Youth Centre in Stuttgart and we regularly host groups and visit Germany. Qualified staff are on site to offer information, advice and guidance on a range of issues for young people.
North Ely Youth Activity Centre work with key partners such as: Flying Start, Play Services, local Church groups and community members. The purpose is to offer local opportunities for Children, Young People and the community.
'Staff were so helpful and friendly' (Young Person)
I’ve always enjoyed attending North Ely. It’s a place where you can feel comfortable being yourself, whilst having amazing youth workers to support you with anything you are facing. I’m grateful to have been given opportunity to develop many skills, take part in workshops, activities and even go on a youth exchange! (Young Person)
