About
Powerhouse Youth Centre is a busy centre in the heart of the Llanedyrn community, providing support and services to young people and the wider community. Young people can come to the centre to engage in a range of activities. These range from music and arts activities to issue based work, life skills projects and socialising in a safe environment. We have a music studio where you can learn skills around beat making or singing, as well as an indoor sports hall to take part in sport and physical activity. Qualified staff are on site to offer information, advice and guidance on a range of issues for young people.

The youth provision is based witihin a community hub which offers a range of support and access services including: housing, money advice, into work and library services.
'Youth Club gives me somewhere to go after school and in the evenings, I wouldn't have anything to do if there was no Youth Club'. (Young person)
Opening times
The Youth cente is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for 11-25 year olds.
Mondays - Stronger Me Project 4:30-6:30pm
Tuesday Senior (Yr 9+) 6:15-8:45pm
Wednesday - Post 16 Team (16+) 1-3pm
Thursday Junior (Yr 7+8) 6:15-8:45pm
Friday Senior (Yr 9+) 6:15-8:45pm
'Youth Club can help with stuff like knife crime and drug issues and make there be less violence, youth clubs can prevent crime. It's alright you know'. (Young Person)
