Youth Innovation Grants
Cardiff Youth Service offer grants to third sector Youth organisations in Cardiff, to ensure Youth Work activity is on offer to young people in communities and they have access to Youth Workers to support them. All organisations apply for funding through the scheme and are supported to ensure better outcomes for young people in Cardiff.
YMCA
YMCA Cardiff’s Open Access Youth Provision offers a safe and welcoming space for young people to connect, grow, and thrive. With a focus on inclusivity and community, we provide a variety of activities tailored to different interests, including creative arts, sports and games, as well as opportunities to develop life skills and confidence through workshops and group discussions. Our friendly team of youth workers are always on hand to offer support and guidance, ensuring every young person feels valued and heard. Whether it’s a chance to relax, make friends or explore new opportunities, YMCA Cardiff is here to empower young people to reach their full potential. There’s no need to book, young people can turn up, get involved and can then access a membership form. All provision runs from YMCA Plas, 2 Shakespeare St, Cardiff CF24 3ES.

I have been coming to youth club for four years and throughout those years impact has been the core of my support. Impact has allowed me to flourish and grow into the person who I want to be through support and advice whilst also giving me a space to be who I want to be. I am surrounded by those who are like me, and ultimately without Impact I would not be the confident individual I am today.
My experience of being a member at Monday night youth club has inspired me to start volunteering at Cathays Community Centre. I started volunteering since last year towards the end of July, I was 18 at the time, and these are the events I have been involved in this year.
