About
Eastmoors Youth centre is a busy centre in the heart of the STAR community, providing support and services to young people from ages 11 to 25. Young people can come to the centre to engage in a range of activities. These range from music and arts activities to issue based work, life skills projects and socialising in a safe environment. We have a music studio and theatre hall where you can get involved in making your own music or take part in shows. Qualified staff are on site to offer information, advice and guidance on a range of issues for young people.
The centre also supports other organisations to work in the community, with into work services offering training and employment support and Ministry of life Education delivering BTEC music courses.
“I’ve been missing Eastmoors during Lockdown, interacting with staff and listening to music. I’m looking forward to planning trips to theme parks and walking up mountains and becoming a senior leader.” (Young Person)

“There’s loads of things I can say about Eastmoors with the memories I’ve had there over some time. I’ve seen bare staff leave and bare staff come but the best staff Eastmoors have had is the ones they got now, the ones who can take a joke but can be serious at times but the best part is how they support you to have the future you want.” (Young Person)
