About Us

Cardiff Youth Service works with young people aged 11-25 to develop personal, social and educational development through opportunities, activities, experiences, information support and guidance that enable young people to reach their unique full potential. We work with young people in a variety of settings offering a universal offer and targeted intervention.

About 

North Ely Youth Centre is vibrant and inviting centre in the North Ely community, providing support and services to young people from ages 11 to 25. We work with key members of the community to deliver a range of youth clubs, such as junior and senior youth clubs, inclusive provision, and targeted projects. We have a long standing relationship with Stanheim Youth Centre in Stuttgart, and regularly host groups from Germany.

Regular Clubs and Opening Times

The Youth club is open access every weekday 9-5. Here are the clubs running each day:

Monday-

YMCA Young carers monday 4:30-6:30PM

Tuesday-

Senior (Yr 10+) 5.30-7.30pm

Wednesday-

Play Services - (ages 5-14) 3:30-4:45PM

Inclusion - 6:00-8:00PM

Thursday -

Mixed night (5:30 - 7:30) - attend North Ely or the Western Leisure Centre

Flying start 1-2:30PM (for more info call Sian 07970860503)

Friday-

Junior (Yr 7-9) 5.00-7.00pm

About 

Butetown youth centre is located in Butetown Pavilion hub, where young people can access a range of support and tools for their development. The pavilion always has an energetic and warm atmosphere. We offer sports (including our very active basketball scene), and our regular Young Creators club which are known around Cardiff for its intrepid journalism. There are also many more opportunities available through Butetown Youth Centre.

Gabalfa Youth Centre is located just off the Taff trail and is therefore easy to access. We offer open access youth clubs, girls group, targeted support, and are running a variety of projects. We also work with services in the community to deliver exciting activities formed by and for young people.

Opening Times and Regular Clubs

Monday we are running Youth Club for 11-13 year olds. 5pm – 7pm

Monday we are also running a girls group designed for tackling some of the issues that Young Girls face in todays society. The ages are 13 to 17 and will start at 5pm and finish at 7.30pm

Wednesday we are running a mixed age youth club. Ages 11-16. From 5.30 -7.30pm.

Thursday we are running a targeted group to support anxious young people in the community who find it difficult to mix within the larger groups. This will run from 3.30pm – 5pm ages will be 11-14.
